Re-Enrollment Commitment
Students currently attending Language & Literacy Academy for Learning have the opportunity to re-enroll for the next school year by completing and returning the LLAL RE-ENROLLMENT COMMITMENT FORM.
All forms must be returned to our Administrative (Front) Office at 330 Avenue C SE, Winter Haven, FL 33880.
The deadline to submit the form is
Wednesday, May 1, 2023, by 4:00 p.m.
Provide information for each child that will or will not be returning to LLAL in the fall of 2023. If you wish to enroll a sibling of a current student***, list their name, date of birth, current grade if attending school, and home school district in the space provided on the form.
If you indicated on your completed Commitment Form that you would like to enroll a sibling in the 2023-2024 school year, please pick-up enrollment materials from the Front Office. If you haven’t received your child’s 2023-2024 enrollment materials please stop by the Front Office to pick the form .
Students whose parents fail to return the Commitment Letter form to the Administrative Office by the deadline above will not be guaranteed enrollment for the upcoming school year and will be required to participate in the pre-enrollment process with new students seeking admission to the school through the lottery.

An applicant must have either an IEP or FSP to be enrolled into the school. If the child is younger than 3 years, they must be in the Early Steps Program under a Family Support Plan. If they are older than 3 years old, they must have an IEP. If not, we will work with the families and direct them to their neighborhood school or Child Find to initiate and complete the IEP process. After eligibility has been determined, the school will follow through with the enrollment process according to the policies and procedures.

Applicants must have therapeutic intervention needs, in independent ambulation, speech and language, communication, social skills, visual perception, sensory, auditory processing, behavior, and/or self-help/independence difficulties. Students typically have difficulty communicating their basic wants and needs, limitations with ambulating or accessing their environment, difficulty eating/swallowing, significant hearing or vision deficits, fine motor deficits, visual motor deficits, sensory processing needs, overall developmental delay and/or difficulty with emotional regulation.

Applicants with social, relational, mental health, and behavioral challenges will be evaluated and served in an appropriate setting.
04.
A physician’s order for therapies must be provided when using medical insurance to provide therapy services for SLP, OT, and PT.
